The International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL)
Announces 2019 Biennial Meeting Dates and Focus

Edinburgh, Scotland —Today, the International Workshop on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (iwCLL) released the dates and themes for the upcoming 2019 iwCLL congress. The largest international organization focused solely on advancing the understanding and treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and related lymphoproliferative disorders, iwCLL will hold its 18th biennial assembly September 20-23, 2019 at the EICC in Edinburgh, UK.

In 2019, the iwCLL program and special sessions will be organized around the following themes:

  • Current understanding of the biology and pathophysiology of CLL
  • Innovations in diagnosis, prognosis, and response assessment
  • Current and emerging treatment options for managing patients with untreated and relapsed/refractory CLL
  • Understanding mechanisms of treatment resistance
  • Sequencing of therapies for achieving long-term remissions
  • Applying real-world data to improve the management of patients with CLL

The iwCLL abstract and the YIM abstract deadline is April 30, 2019. All submissions of original work will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the program as an oral presentation or as a poster at the main meeting and/or at the Young Investigator Meeting (YIM) on September 20, 2019.
